Urgent Reminders
Mindr has always been calm on purpose: your tasks live on your home screen, not in your notification tray. But some things really can't slip — medication, moving the car, catching the trash pickup. For those, mark a reminder as Urgent and Mindr will make sure you notice when it's due.
Choose how loud it gets
Every urgent reminder gets its own alert style, so a missed vitamin doesn't sound like a house fire.
Alarm
A real, full-screen alarm that rings at the due time — even in silent mode or a Focus. Complete the task right from the alarm, or dismiss it for the moment.
Mindr ProLive Activity
A persistent nudge appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island when the reminder comes due, with a sound to get your attention. It stays put until you complete the task.
Mindr ProNotification
A time-sensitive notification that can break through Focus modes, with a Complete button built right in. Simple, effective, and included for everyone.
FreeDismissed, but not done?
If you dismiss an alarm without completing the task, Mindr leaves a gentle nudge on your Lock Screen so it doesn't vanish from your mind the moment the ringing stops. Complete the task and the nudge disappears — and since Mindr reminders recur, the next one is armed automatically.
How to use it
Four taps, and you're covered.
- Open a reminder — create a new one or edit any existing reminder.
- Turn on Urgent — flip the Urgent toggle in the reminder's settings.
- Pick an alert style — Alarm, Live Activity, or Notification. Mindr will ask for the matching permission the first time you use one.
- That's it — when the reminder comes due, Mindr breaks through. Completing it schedules the next occurrence as usual.
Urgent Reminders require iOS 26 or later and are available on iPhone. The Notification style is free for everyone; Alarm and Live Activity are part of Mindr Pro. Everything else about Mindr stays as quiet as ever.
